Terms of trade
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment terms: 30% deposit on confirmation, 60% due 1 week prior to scheduled installation date 10 % due 7 days receipt of goods unless otherwise arranged. Goods remain the property of Grant Kearney Joinery until full payment is received. We reserve the right to uplift any items left outstanding.
IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Our quote in valid for 90 days from the above date after which a revised quote may be necessary. Any variation to the requested services may result in a variation to the quoted price.
All solid surface bench tops are tern plated once the joinery has been installed. The time bench tops are templated until installation can be up to 15 working days.
All glass splash backs are tern plated after the bench top has been installed. This can take a further 10-15 working days until installation. Splash back prices may vary at time of tern plating if any cut outs or installation requirements have been added after the initial consultation.
Sizes on the plan are an indication only and are subject to change after site measure. Signing your quotation allows Grant Kearney Joinery to alter sizing as necessary.
Range hoods and integrated appliances need to be delivered to Grant Kearney Joiners
A surcharge of approx. $200, will apply when a return visit is required to fit toe kicks for floating floors.
Price includes site measure, delivery to site and installation on site unless stated above.
No allowance has been made for plumbing, electrical or gas fitting, structural work, splash backs, lighting or taps unless specified.
Price does not include removal and disposal of existing kitchen unless specified.
All wall cabinets will have an 18 mm colour board under panel.
Cancellation of your kitchen must be made in writing and will incur a variable fee depending on the stage of production it is at.
Appliance details must be supplied (make and model) and checked by the client on the specification sheets. If the client does not supply appliance details or wants a standard gap left Grant Kearney joiners takes no responsibility if the appliances do not fit the joinery.
Warranty
This warranty covers products manufactured by Grant Kearney Joinery Ltd. Grant Kearney Joinery (GKJL as it will be referred to) warrants that in the manufacturing if its products only high quality workmanship and materials have been employed. GKJL undertake to supply products, that are of an acceptable quality and are fit for the purpose that they are intended as outlined under The Consumer Guarantees Act. If you are a consumer within the terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 then this warranty is an addition and in no way reduces your statutory rights. Should any defect be discovered regarding either the materials or workmanship within a ten year period from the date of delivery, GKJL will at its own cost, repair or replace any faulty products or components at the company's discretion. Products manufactured by GKJL that are on -sold while still within the warranty period will be covered unless sold at auction. GKJL will not be liable for a claim on a defective product if a claim has been paid to the previous owner. Items purchased by GKJL such as hardware and benchtops are not covered by this warranty but are covered by the manufacturers or importers own warranty and subject to their own terms and conditions which may differ from this document. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, excessive wear and tear, improper care and maintenance, water and natural causes such as sunlight, humidity and other environmental conditions. To validate this warranty please ensure that the details listed are completed and proof of purchase is attached. Please keep these for your records as the purchaser must produce proof of purchase when making a claim.
